Who are the heroes in your community?

Do you know someone in your community who always goes out of their way to help others? Or who makes an effort to keep the area they live in looking clean and tidy?

Or is it somebody who is just always there when you need them?

Celebrate the unsung heroes in your community by nominating them for the Dunedin Canmore Good Neighbour Award.

The annual Good Neighbour Award shines a light on the people in our communities who make a difference to their neighbours’ lives.

To nominate someone special in your neighbourhood head to our website and fill in the form to tell us why your neighbour deserves to win.

You can also ask your housing officer for a form.

The person you nominate must live in a Dunedin Canmore home and there are two entry categories – over 18s and under 18s. All entries must be in by 31 August 2019.

Nominations will be judged by the Dunedin Canmore tenant forum members and the Dunedin Canmore Board. The winner will be announced at Dunedin Canmore’s annual general meeting in September.
