Helen Howden

A qualified solicitor, Helen is currently Governance Manager at Crown Estate Scotland and takes a keen interest in governance across the public sector.  After being in private practice as a commercial property lawyer, Helen moved into governance and in-house counsel roles with the EDI Group and Scotland’s Rural College before taking up her current post.  Helen was previously a Board member of Barony Housing Association and was appointed Vice Chair in September 2022.
